Race discrimination and Bainimarama

No racial discrimination here!

Bainimarama has shown what a colossal hypocrite he is with a statement that he’s worried about racial discrimination. He knows that when he chose his successor as Commander of the RFMF he passed over Mohammed Aziz who was an eminently qualified candidate who worked his way up from the bottom and proved himself in many different capacities. He was next in line, the natural successor, but Bainimarama did not consider him. And after his 15 years as Commander, the RFMF is still the mono-ethnic institution it was when he took over.

  1. KB Says:

BRIGADIER GENERAL, MOSESE TIKOITOGA can go down in the history of Fiji, and people for generations will talk about him – if he has the guts to steps in now and let the country know, in no uncertain terms, that he will respect the election results and give us his personal guarantee for a smooth transition of power.

It is about time Tikoitoga steps out of the shadows of Frank Bainimarama….and becomes his own man.

Also, just like Bainimarama did, Tikoitoga must also make sure that his military council is behind him. With Fijians making up 65% of the population and 99% of the army…..now is the time for the BRIGADIER GENERAL to earn a place history of Fiji.

The Fijian people will be grateful to this man for generations to come.

We Fijian will get our country back….it is just a matter of time.

But for the BRIGADIER GENERAL – its now, or NEVER.

    Remember this:

There is a tide in the affairs of men.
    Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries.
On such a full sea are we now afloat,
And we must take the current when it serves,
    Or lose our ventures.

God is on our side. …

  2. Coup Inevitable Says:

you live in lala land KB. this man is no saviour of democracy…you’ve forgotten very quickly his unwavering support for Franky.
Franky’s constitution allows him to dictate to the commander that it is in the best interests of the country to remove the elected government…and it is all legal.

  3. No More Nukulau Says:

I agree with you Coup Inevitable, it is something that was told to all Fiji islanders over a year ago and still pea brains never acknowledge things staring in their face in a fake Constitution. Lack of leadership. As Frankie said at the Teimumu debate, maybe you all need to get a new “bunch of lawyers”. The procedure for a coup is indeed embedded in the Constitution.

  4. KB Says:

Guy…..you saw that quote – it was a Brutus quote, the dude who stabbed Caesar in the back.
Frankie was a nobody when he became the head of the military and he purged the military of all who threatened his leadership.

Now – Tikoitoga is in that same position – and the threat to him is from senior officers who are loyal to Frank…..he better take care of that.

Once he gets himself established – then he knows what side is his bread buttered on.

Look – we are 65% Fijian population wise and 99% Fijian military…sooner or later we will control the country and the military…..even if their is a coup….there is a bigger chance that some right wing, Nationalist Fijian will pull the coup…not someone who wants to keep the Fijians down.

Just like this dictatorship, we do not want a Nationalist military dictator, like Speight or Rabuka either.

So it is in the best interest of any military leader to side with the Fijian people.

Tikoitoga has now tasted power……and he ain’t going back to letting Frankie be the lead dog.
