Rabuka and Chaudhry agree

Sitiveni Rabuka and Mahendra Chaudhry don’t often agree on many things but they are both falling about with laughter at the claims by Bainimarama that next year’s elections will be the first genuinely democratic elections in our history. He has dictated every detail of the constitution, throwing out the work of a genuine consultation process by an independent Commission HE appointed, refused to allow even a token group of citizens to discuss his draft, and all he says is this is the way to have “genuine” democratic elections.
