The one day election

Khaiyum is claiming that he’ll run the elections next year on a single day. He seems to have no idea how hard to get to some iTaukei villages is. He will expect people in the villages, regardless of age or infirmity to get to the places he designates for them to vote. If they can’t there, he assumes they don’t want to vote. The fact is he doesn’t care if they do or don’t vote. He’s happy to go to the ends of the earth to find people he thinks will vote for him, but rural iTaukei have never figured in his thoughts.
