Real Jack’s take on Col. Saumatua

Veteran blogger Real Jack from Fiji Board Exiles suspects former Minister for Housing and Local Government, Col Sam Saumatua, fell foul of the regime by insisting on proper process for a couple of projects which have backing from the Bainimarama and Khaiyum. It wasn’t just the insult to Saumatua of having people who report to him sacked by another Minister which triggered his resignation, says Real Jack.

“the bigger picture involved with the Samuatua issue though is the Casino – One Hundred Sands needs development approvals and consents for that casino to be built – and that process needs to be done in respect of the new piece of land to which they appear to now have moved the casino – there has to be proper zoning and there has to be proper development approvals and consents -whether Saumatua would have allowed the development processes to be short-Gutted is debatable – personally i don’t think he would have allowed it given the manner in which he has not allowed the Raiwai PRB flats dispute to be interfered with but instead put it to a proper Tribunal to handle the issue and the dispute.”

There could be something in this. Who knows what happens inside this dictatorship.

I request that you stop stealing my postings from Fiji Exiles board and posting it here to support your own agenda against the Government.

If you wish to post materials, then post your own instead of stealing ideas and posts from Fiji Board Exiles.

This below is the full context of that posting which you have selectively edited and re-posted here to your FDN blog suit your agenda.

You have not only stolen materials from Fijiboard Exiles but you have deviously edited it to portray and slant and agenda which you are an apologist for.

    real jack:

Col Saumatua was Head of Military Intelligence in the period leading upto December 2006 and during the tumultuous period after that – his calming influence is very much understated but he is the key man who kept things together up at QEB during those very tumultuous early days post December 2006

it looks like all the Military officers who were key men with FB during the December 2006 coup d’etat are all being removed from the Government one by one – because away from the center of power they cannot have any input into policy and decisions

these are all officers in the anti-Australian hegemony group who are being removed for one reason or another, but mainly through a well orchestrated black smear and Chinese whispers campaign.

and its very effective because when you use that black smear tactic it creates distrust in a group – and like the Roman empire it splinters from within and loses its center of gravity when the Generals splinter – eventually the center becomes weak.
    Saumatua resigns

MINISTER for Housing, Environment, Local Government and Urban Development Colonel Samuela Saumatua has resigned.

A Ministry of Information statement issued yesterday said Col. Saumatua resigned for personal reasons.

It said Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum would assume the position on an acting basis until a successor was appointed.

The government thanked Col. Samatua for his service and wished him well in his future endeavours.

Let us not forget that the Bainimarama – Khaiyum regime was brought about through treason and is an illegal government. Of coures you can create in your great delusion a windmill in Australian hegemony for this regime to fight, but it does not change the fact that the BK regime does not involve the People and internationals are doing their best to encourage democracy and participation by the People. Of course they are at loggerheads with each other, on which a rule by dictators, and the other a rebirth of democracy in Fiji.
Your demonization of Australia to take the focus off the illegal regime (which does not represent Fiji) is laughable. Whatever problems Fiji had with democracy in the past can be cured and always could be cured through standard democratic processes written into the existing Constitution.

Not surprising that Voreqe is trying to justify his personal rape of Fiji as some kind of nationalistic move (making Australia the scapegoat) rather than just an outright robbery of the exchequer and get out of jail free card for himself.

    real jack:

let it play out – you were laughing at me when i was posting about the Aussie corruption in our legal system – but now nobody is laughing because its out there for all and sundry to see with the revelation of these law firms run by Australians and foreigners over here being key players in setting up major local businesses with offshore tax havens and facilitating the siphoning off from this country of money which should be coming into this country – the FRCA has assessed that every year we have around $300 million to $500 million disappearing because of these kinds of setups being run by these people – and this has been going on for more than a decade and a half

the bigger picture involved with the Samuatua issue though, in my view, is the Casino – One Hundred Sands needs development approvals and consents for that casino to be built – and that process needs to be done in respect of the new piece of land to which they appear to now have moved the casino – there has to be proper zoning and there has to be proper development approvals and consents – whether Saumatua would have allowed the development processes to be short-cutted is debatable – personally i don’t think he would have allowed it given the manner in which he has not allowed the Raiwai PRB flats dispute to be interfered with but instead put it to a proper Tribunal to handle the issue and the dispute.
