Bainimarama admits “many years” of neglect

Radio Khaiyum has reported Bainimarama as admitting that “Fiji’s roads had been neglected for years and it cannot be fixed overnight”. Has he forgotten that he stole the office of Prime Minister six and a half years ago? It’s HIS neglect that he’s talking about. He put his faith in contracts with his ‘new’ friends from the North to look after roads paid for with borrowed funds and it was only when their roads fell apart with the first downpour that he was forced to go to a New Zealand company to get a reliable contractor.

How about going to Australian companies to see if they can fix our busted sugar mills.

But that aint gonna happen – Frank couldn’t risk someeone finding out what the Indian contractors did to our mills and still got paid $100 million or whatever.
