NFP off and running, where is Frank’s party?

The National Federation Party, our oldest party, is off and running. Their office-holders are in place and they’re beginning the process of planning their strategy for the road between now and the elections. They will be ready and well-prepared. So where is the party that Bainimarama said he would establish to contest the elections? Where are his office-holders? So far it looks like a party of two, which sounds more like a candle-lit dinner than an election winning political force.

I applaud the continued efforts of the “registered” political parties in getting themselves organized and preparing themselves for the 2014 elections however, I find it insulting and downright hypocritical that whilst these political parties have to disclose their and their family’s assets Josaia Bainimarama is not subject to this same scrutiny and we may never know if he ever will be.

    Hello,
We are glad to inform you that we received Franck Bainimarama in Lourdes, France.
Lourdes is the town were Virgin Mary is said to have apeared to a young girl, Bernadette Soubirous in 1858. We receive 6 millions visitors each year for this peculiar reason.
We are speaking about Fiji, his “democracy”, his tough guys beating attached prisonners, and we try to fullfill a forum with this purpose.
Best regards, JL Laplagne, Les Esprits Libres ( The Free Minds ? hmmm…)

While political parties are busy organising their organisational structures, processes and resources for the election Bhai is busy using our peoples’ resources in the form of Govt funds to campaign directly in rural areas and govt media outlets through bribes, and passing decrees.

He has announced his intention to be candidate and putting up a Political Party.

When other parties will declare their assets as dictated by Bhai’s rules Bhai on the other hand will not declare that he is using the peoples’ assets…ie Govt funds to campaign…he has almost unlimited resources, as he will get Govt to loan from China if he needs more to top up Govt funding…..he is using to fund his campaign and corruption.

It is hard to win against a dictator in political campaign…but we can win if we all work together in spreading the truths about this illegal Govt and its corrupt ways..and clearly explain to our people what the proposed constitution actually mean.

This constitution should be translated to the rural Fijians in the Fijian language if they are to have a better understanding of how it will disenfranchise Fijians with their land.

Interesting that enforcement agencies have now decided to resurrect “that” provision that has been quietly sleeping amongst the many provisions of the FICAC Decree – yep – that one that says they can ask any citizen of Fiji where they have derived their wealth IF their wealth manifest is greater than what they earn!

But nothing has been mentioned about the criteria – whether the inspection is based on a subjective or objective assessment and whether Josaia Bainimarama; the former Colonel Pita Driti; the Police Commissioner and their chummy friend Setoki Ceinaturaga will be the subject of such enquiries!!! They have much to say about un-explained wealth particularly when they all live by the motto – I scratch your back and you scratch mine 🙂
