PRB calls for a lawyer

In what looks like a huge embarrassment for the Bainikhaiyum regime the Public Rental Board has called for a legal opinion. What will this opinion look at? Were the favoured sons of China actually obliged by a contract to build houses to the accepted standard or did the contract provide for some other arrangement along the lines of “it’s your money we’re using, even if we have to pay it back, so do what you think is best”? The regime agreed to pay the Indian contractors for wrecking FSC’s mills, so why wouldn’t we be in hock big time to the Chinese for building a pile of bricks that are unsuitable for human habitation?
