Commissioner’s Parade but no Commissioner

Rumours of the Commissioner stricken by a stroke were fuelled by his non-attendance at his own first quarter parade at Nasova on Friday. But where was number 2, Deputy Commissioner Ravi Narayan, who came to fame as the man Superintendent Abdul Khan told where he could put with his rank? Both top men absent for this morale boosting moment? Unlike in the days of Teleni, the FPF seems to talk about crime and admit that it’s increasing, but the force has lost real professionalism it was building in 2006 under a highly qualified professional. In a dictatorship unexplained absences will always fuel rumours, even more so when combined with other absences like Tikoitoga and Cawaki.
