The vow of silence

The shocking video of shame that’s got the whole world talking has left the Bainikhaiyum regime stuck for words. This regime which proudly abolished corporal punishment in schools, is six years later using torture as an instrument of control. No wonder they’ve got nothing to say. Apart from Sokomuri’s robotic reading of a piece of PR BS saying the FPF is shocked, they’ve got nothing to say. Khaiyum is silent, a very unusual state for him. They even talk about needing to investigate what happened, as if there’s some ambiguity.
