The regime propaganda machine has tried to make capital out of the fact that the blog sites that let everyone in Fiji see the brutal bashing video for themselves made a mistake about the identity of the victims. They had not escaped from Naboro, but from Korovou prison. Does the propaganda machine really think this makes a difference? All they’ve done is confirm that they will do anything to distort the truth. Nobody who has seen the video thinks this makes a scrap of difference. It’s brutality inflicted by sadists who were aided and abetted by people who should know better. The outrage felt is so strong that people are discussing it openly and the regime has been forced to pretend it disapproves.

It seems that Qorvis and their hacks are still reeling from this one given the much delayed response and pussyfooting.
Even the faithful hack Grubby treads cautiously with it, but still manages to justify the leaked torture video in FIJI, to the Mardi Gras march roughing up in SYDNEY, and the Rodney King incident in the USA. The icing on the cake would have to be his in selective element of the ‘i-taukei’ culture like the good ol’ buturaki ‘tradition’.
