FSC under the Bainikhaiyum regime no longer issues proper annual reports and statistics but the truth cannot really be hidden. CEO Abdul Khan has announced a target of 190,000 tonnes production for 2013 and in doing so admitted that last year’s production was 155,000 tonnes. This is less than what was promised, as it has been for years. It looks like our sugar production is stuck on about 160,000 tonnes a year, about half what is was before the coup.

Abdul Khan, the corrupt FSC CEO talks way too much about things he does not know in the sugar industry. With sugar going into oblivion and the very dismal production levels of the coup years, he would be much better of keeping his big mouth shut as FSC is doomed for failure. No amount of talking will increase cane production and sugar make. The farmers have had it and they only know too well its not worth it at all.
All this time when FSC is living on borrowed money, I have not heard the corrupt CEO mention that all FSC staff and employees will take pay cuts and reduction of benefits. Only one has to look at its contractual agreements with unions and employees to note how achaic they are, and that they contribute to FSC’s woes.
