According to the Fiji Sun, Muaniweni farmers who were victims of the 2000 coup have told Bainimarama that he must carry on in office. Do they really not understand that Bainimarama was tied up in the 2000 coup? Have they not read what former military officers Mara and Baledrokadroka have said? Don’t they wonder why Inoke Kubuabola who was named as one of the shadowy figures behind the coup has been appointed foreign minister? Not to mention Bainimarama former buddies, Jim Ah Koy and former Police Commissioner. the late Isikia Savua.

Rag sheet Fiji Sun seems to be in a habit of reporting on pockets of people asking bai to continue. Well here is some advice to these minority. Let the majority decide on whether bai stays or goes by putting it to a vote i.e. via general elections
